Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
Updated xcin packages that fix a bug are now available.
Description
The xcin package is an X Input Method Server for the Chinese language.
Java performed garbage collection on a data structure misunderstood as
unused. This caused xcin in Java GUI applications to halt. These updated
packages isolate unused data structures for garbage collection.
Users of xcin are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolves this issue.
