Details

Updated hal packages that fix a bug are now available.

The hal packages provide a daemon for collecting and maintaining
information from several sources about the hardware on the system.

Certain Dell systems using NVIDIA based graphic cards failed to resume
from suspend-to-ram. This issue effects Dell Latitude D800 laptops, but
may affect other Dell systems. Affected Dell systems can resume from
suspend-to-ram in these updated packages.

All hal users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve this issue.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
