mdadm bug fix update

Bug Fix Advisory
Red Hat Insights patch analysis
Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
Updated mdadm packages that fix a bug are now available.
Description
The mdadm package is used to create, manage, and monitor Linux MD (software
RAID) devices. As such, it provides similar functionality to the raidtools
package. However, mdadm is a single program, and it can perform almost all
functions without a configuration file, although a configuration file can
be used to help with some common tasks.
This updated package includes the following fix:
- The init script for the mdmonitor and mdmpd services was not Linux
Standards Base (LSB) compliant. This issue has been resolved. All actions
attempted by both init scripts will now return LSB standard return codes
and the status action will always operate even when the service is not
properly configured.
All madadm users should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolves
this issue.
