RHBA-2007:0800 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
ipvsadm bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated ipvsadm package which resolves a bug is now available.
Description
ipvsadm is a utility to administer the IP Virtual Server services offered
by the Linux kernel.
This update includes the following fix:
- during an automated installation and removal test using yum on an empty
changeroot, an error -- /sbin/chkconfig: No such file or directory -- was
returned by the post-install script. ipvsadm now requires the chkconfig
package to be installed before it can, itself, be installed.
Users should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves this issue.
