An updated lmbench package that fixes a bug is now available.
Description
lmbench is a series of micro benchmarks intended to measure basic operating
system and hardware system metrics. The benchmarks fall into three general
classes: bandwidth, latency, and "other".
A bug that caused glibc to report double free or corruption errors when
running the hardware certification test on systems with large amounts of
memory (700 Gigabytes and more) has been fixed.
Users are advised to upgrade to this updated lmbench package which resolves
this problem.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
