Details

An updated device-mapper-multipath package that fixes various bugs is now
available.

The device-mapper-multipath package provides tools to manage multipath
devices by instructing the device-mapper multipath kernel module what to do.

In this updated package, the default configurations for the IBM DS8000 and
dasd devices, and for various Hitachi arrays, were fixed so that
device-mapper-multipath will correctly configure itself for these devices.

Users running device-mapper-multipath on any of these storage devices
should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves these issues.
