Details

Updated imap packages that fix a bug are now available.

The imap package provides server daemons for both the IMAP (Internet
Message Access Protocol) and POP (Post Office Protocol) mail access protocols.

This update resolves a bug that occurred when multiple IMAP processes
attempted to access the same user mailbox. When this happened, the process
owning the mailbox lock hung in a deadlock state and all other IMAP
processes denied access to the mailbox in question. Typically this problem
was only seen in installations running multiple IMAP processes under heavy
load.

Users should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve this issue.
