Details

Updated raidtools packages that address an overflow bug are now available.

The raidtools package is used to create, manage, and monitor Linux MD
(software RAID) devices. As such, it provides similar functionality to the
mdadm package.

While raidtools is deprecated in favor of mdadm and would not normally be
updated, there are a few third party applications that make use of
raidtools specific programs for gathering information about the software
RAID subsystem on linux servers. This update resolves a bug that kept the
lsraid program from properly listing the server's RAID configuration
whenever any line of output in the /proc/mdstat file was more than 100
characters in length.

Users of raidtools should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve
this issue.
