RHBA-2007:0412 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
mgetty bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
Updated mgetty packages are now available.
Description
The mgetty package contains a "smart" getty which allows logins over a

When going through a shutdown or reboot of the system, mgetty process did
not exit nicely and caused the /var partition to not unmount cleanly.
Also, the build requirements of the package have been fixed.
Users of mgetty are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve these issues.
