Advisory: RHBA-2007:0357-2
Type: Bug Fix Advisory
Severity: N/A
Issued on: 2008-05-21
Last updated on: 2008-05-21
Affected Products: RHEL Desktop Workstation (v. 5 client)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (v. 5 server)
OVAL: N/A

Details

An updated hardlink package that fixes various bugs is now available.

The hardlink package contains a utility to hardlink duplicate files in a
directory tree. It is used during kernel installation to dramatically
reduce the amount of disc space used by each kernel package installed.

The previous version of hardlink did not fully document the '-v' option,
which is now fixed.

Users are advised to upgrade to this updated hardlink package, which resolves
this issue.
