Details

Updated dbus packages are now available.

D-Bus is a system for sending messages between applications. It is
used both for the systemwide message bus service, and as a
per-user-login-session messaging facility.

This update provides a bug fix and an enhancement.

This update fixes a bug that prevented D-Bus from sending messages to the
audit system.

This update also provides the GetConnectionSELinuxSecurityContext()
method on system bus instances such that clients can use the security
content as a factor in authorization decisions when D-Bus is servicing
its clients. This is a back port from more recent D-Bus releases.

Users should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves these issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:

up2date

This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
