Details

Updated ia32el packages with new bug fixes of ia32el are now available.

The ia32el package contains the IA-32 Execution Layer platform, which
allows emulation of IA-32 binaries on Itanium.

This update applies the following fixes:

* Memory protection and signal handling bugs were fixed.

* The package now restarts ia32el automatically after upgrade, thus
applying fixes immediately without further manual intervention.

Users of ia32el should upgrade to these updated packages.


Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:

up2date
