Details

Updated vnc packages that fix a bug in vncserver init script are now available.

Virtual Network Computing (VNC) is a remote display system which
allows you to view a computing 'desktop' environment not only on the
machine where it is running, but from anywhere on the Internet and
from a wide variety of machine architectures.

vncserver init script doesn't load appropriate profile

All users of VNC should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve
this problem.


Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:

up2date
