Details
Updated anaconda packages that add various enhancements and fix various
bugs are now available.
The anaconda package contains portions of the installation program that can
be run by the user for reconfiguration and advanced installation options.
These packages include the following bug fixes:
- corrected terminal handling in rescue mode
- corrected terminal handling on ppc systems
- fixed checking for removable drives
- corrected creation of the rpm lock file directory during installation
- fixed libraries for command line utilities on network boot images
- fixed loading of driver disks from USB keys
- added a work-around for broken networks with DHCP
- added the missing LTC24094-adp94xx driver to initrd for i386, AMD64, and
Intel EM64T
- allowed the MTU to be set in syslinux.cfg or ks.cfg
- fixed incorrect kernel module dependency resolution
They also include the following enhancements:
- more robust detection of systems with many processors
- added support for nfs mount options on the boot command line
- improved handling of lvm kickstart configuration
- improved handling of ethtool network configuration options
- improved documentation of selinux kickstart parameters
- improved documentation of vnc options
- improved handling of unformatted DASD drives in kickstart
- improved handling of swap file labels on CCISS devices
All users of anaconda are advised to upgrade to these updated packages.

This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:
up2date
This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
