Updated Emacs packages that remove some inappropriate files are now
available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.
Emacs is a customizable, self-documenting, modeless text editor.
This update fixes the problem that the default.el configuration file,
which may contain local changes, would get overwritten when upgrading emacs.
Users of emacs should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve this
issue.
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
