Details

Updated curl packages are now available.

cURL is a tool for getting files from FTP, HTTP, Gopher, Telnet, and Dict
servers, using any of the supported protocols. cURL is designed to work
without user interaction or any kind of interactivity.

Previously, cURL did not expand numeric ranges within square brackets properly.

All users of curl are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
contain a backported fix for this issue.


Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:

up2date
