Topic
An updated rusers package that fixes a bug on 64-bit platforms is now
available.
Description
The rusers program allows users to find out who is logged into machines on
the local network. The rusers command produces output similar to who, but
for a specified list of hosts or for all machines on the local network.
This update fixes a bug with rup in which de-allocated memory could be
accessed.
All users of rup on 64-bit platforms should upgrade to this updated
package, which resolves this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
