Details

Updated evolution-data-server packages that fix a performance bug are now
available.

The evolution-data-server package provides a unified backend for programs
that work with contacts, tasks, and calendar information. This package was
originally developed for Evolution, but is now used by other packages.

Users reported performance problems with the Evolution Calendar component,
specifically long delays and excessive CPU load while switching to and
using the component. These problems were caused by inefficiencies in the
evolution-data-server packages, which now contain a fix for this issue.

All users of evolution-data-server should upgrade to these updated
packages, which resolve this issue.
