Details
An updated postgresql-odbc package that fixes a bug on 64-bit architectures
is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.
PostgreSQL is an advanced Object-Relational database management system
(DBMS) that supports almost all SQL constructs, including transactions,
subselects, and user-defined types and function.
This package includes the driver required in order for applications to
access a PostgreSQL database via ODBC (Open Database Connectivity). The
previous version malfunctioned on 64-bit architectures (ia64, x86_64,
ppc64, s390x).
Users of the postgresql-pdbc package on 64-bit architectures are advised to
upgrade to this updated package, which resolves this issue.
Solution
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
