RHBA-2004:581 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
Updated firstboot package
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated firstboot package that supports updated modules, such as the new
Red Hat Network registration process, is now available.
Description
The firstboot utility runs the first time the system boots after
installation. It guides the user through the configuration process and
allows for custom system settings.
This updated firstboot package includes new features that are used by
updated modules, such as the Red Hat Network registration screens.
Also included is support for multiscreen firstboot modules, better page
navigation, and more robust module importing.
All users of firstboot should upgrade to this updated package, which
includes these enhancements.
