Type: Bug Fix Advisory
Severity: N/A

OVAL: N/A

Details

An updated update-agent package is now available for Stronghold 4.0 which
fixes a bug preventing updates for Solaris on x86 platforms.

The update-agent tool included in Stronghold 4.0 queries the download
server for any newer versions of packages in a Stronghold installation, and
can automatically download and install the packages to keep the
installation up to date.

A bug was found in the version of update-agent included in the 4.0 release
on Solaris x86 installations only. This prevented the packages downloaded
from being installed. No platforms other than Solaris on x86 are affected
by this bug.

Solution

A new release of Stronghold 4, version 4.0c, is now available and includes
a fixed version of the update-agent package. Existing installations of
Stronghold 4.0 can be upgraded to 4.0c by using the new installer
executables. For more information on how to upgrade between releases of
Stronghold 4, see
