Details

A new version of Update Agent is available which has more features and
fixes many bugs present in the existing Agent. Additionally, the "new" Red
Hat Network-aware Update Agent that first shipped with Red Hat Linux 7.0 is
now available for Red Hat Linux 6.2.

Versions of Update Agent prior to 2.1.7 have several small bugs which can
hamper functionality in a number of ways. These bugs have been fixed. In
addition, a large number of new features have been added, including but not
limited to proxy support, improved dependency resolution, and better
command line functionality.

This new Update Agent is also being made available for Red Hat Linux 6.2,
and replaces the previous 1.x version available for that platform. This
release brings Red Hat Network functionality to Red Hat Linux 6.2.

Solution

For all RPMs for your particular architecture, run:

rpm -Uvh [filenames]

where filenames are the name of the RPMs.
