Details

The frontend to nmap (nmapfe) dumps core when scanning some
operating systems.

When using nmapfe to SYN scan some operating systems, nmapfe will dump
core. The console based nmap application is not affected by this
behavior.


Solution

For each RPM for your particular architecture, run:















rpm -Fvh [filename]















where filename is the name of the RPM.
